Harm of grain crops - wheat, rye, barley, oats
The most consecutive syroyeda do not use some bread, porridges, other grain and flour products unless only occasionally. Really bread, grain, basis of life of the agricultural people, is mankind error? Really two thirds of the woods on the planet are in vain destroyed to give them for ploughland? Different grain crops - rice, wheat, rye, barley, corn, millet - feed people and animals on all Globe. And what it is possible to offer in exchange? I.V Michurin, though was not syroyedy, claimed that nuts - future bread. And, probably, it was right.
We have got used to put experiments at first on animals, and then to transfer results to medicine or hygiene. But experiment with food by grain is put by mankind at the same time both on itself, and on farm animals. And results were absolutely identical.
At increase in diet of share of forage rich with protein - concentrates at the expense of what most often try to obtain high efficiency in modern animal husbandry, on unit of forage 2-3 times less microelements arrive, than when feeding (for example, milk cows) hay and silo. The reasons of shortage of different microelements (copper, zinc, manganese, iodine, cobalt, etc.) in organism of animal other types - are similar. Especially sharply and most often deficit of microelements is shown at unilateral feeding, when using grain forages in diets of pigs, hens, at the bezvygulny fixed or cellular contents them (i.e. when they cannot be grazed, eating at least partially natural vegetable food, first of all green foliage). Animals are ill, and products of animal husbandry are defective too - in it there are no same elements of which it is not enough in their grain food.
Fight for high yields of milk of milk the strengthened additives of concentrates leads to the fact that the maintenance of microelements in it falls so that even cases of thyroid gland (craw) at the calfs raised by such milk are noted.
From here conclusion be not fond for a long time of unilateral diets even if both very exotic and fashionable if the set of products in this diet is narrow, and especially if it generally grain (as, for example, D. Osava's diet).
Syroyedam it is known that grain diets, especially quickly - in the absence of green vegetables - guarantee not only arthritis, but also the whole bouquet of serious frustration of health. Doctor Max Uormbrend, the author of the book "Arthritis Is Curable", the doctor-syroyed, famous in the USA, who has rescued thousands of people from sufferings in full disability including uncountable great number of patients with the started arthritis cases which seemed incurable, specifies: "Bread, cereals (oats, etc.) are undesirable to patients with arthritis, and they need to be consumed restrictedly or to exclude from diet absolutely".
I open the Za Rubezhom magazine. Have reprinted article of the foreign specialist under the name "Secret of Arthritis". If it for it secret what he is specialist? I come in October, 1976 to meeting on medical starvation in the clinic run then by professor Yu.S. Nikolaev. Yury Sergeyevich says in the speech and about food, and gives curious example. Before revolution there were in the capital many carriers. What did they feed horses with? It is known, oats. There is no green grass on the Moscow pavements. In year the horse begins to limp on all four legs - gets sick from such food with arthritis. Send it to the village that it was grazed and recovered, and in exchange bring from the village fresh horse who too in year should turn in sick with arthritis. Unless it is not surprising that Moscow "the secret of arthritis" was known to the pre-revolutionary carrier, and to specialists and still - no?
Herbert Shelton in "Ortotrofiya" quotes the adherent, probably, feeling that "die - will not tell better":
"One author has told: "Do not consume at one time more than two foodstuff rich with sugar or starch. When you eat bread with potatoes, your consumption of starch exceeds norm. The food which includes peas, bread, potatoes, sugar, cookies and (after lunch) dessert, has to include also complex of vitamins of group B, quantity of baking soda and the address of the closest specialist in arthritis and other diseases".
The rate on grain, made the person during prescientific era, seemingly, has brought it into the deadlock. The opened lands are exposed to the increasing erosion, moving us to the world environmental disaster. And the grain farm of the world, though feeds, but does not provide with full-fledged, healthy food either the person, or animals. The main lack of grain - protein, unbalanced on amino acids: irreplaceable (lysine, threonine, tryptophane) - it is not enough, here you want - you do not want, and you will add animal products to food! And - there is a lot of replaceable amino acids and I pound from them a little, there are not enough component parts, and even without one staff-wood not to collect barrel, in the same way in with proteins which our organism synthesizes, having taken food protein to pieces.
Shortage of lysine is the main reason of exhaustion of people in developing countries where also the general consumption of protein is twice lower, than in the countries developed. Insidiousness of grain food is that its unbalanced protein breaks normal "assembly" of protein in human body or animal that conducts to the increased need for food protein. In addition, if this need for protein is not satisfied, toxic effect of such protein is especially strongly shown. We also observe it in developing countries. While attempts to improve situation are made, making protein from oil, methanol, natural gas, one lysine is not enough in food of people of 136 thousand tons, and in forage of animals is three times more. Lysine already make about 40 thousand tons annually. Though it is still expensive and poorly competes with soy additives.
Proteinaceous problem, it is worth emphasizing once again, does not concern Papuans in any way who does not eat grain, that has no problems with deficits of protein, microelements, vitamins. It is interesting that in recent years researchers have become interested in diet of people of the Stone Age. The food allowance of people in this period is considered by specialists, can serve as sample for the modern person and model for creation of protection against some diseases, characteristic of our century. So the science about food (and not just syroyeda) looks for the ways back, let meanwhile not to monkey too, but in the Stone Age already looks approvingly, since those times the structure of food has changed very strongly whereas human genes remained invariable. And it, undoubtedly, one of the reasons some "diseases, civilization". In food of ancestors cereals were absent absolutely: 65 percent made fruit and vegetables, and 35 percent - the meat of wild animals which had on average only 5 percent of fat (in present beef of its 25-30 percent!).
Grain diets can lead also to other serious malfunctions with health. If at the person digestion is rather weak - there is not enough enzyme completing digestion (splitting for amino acids) gluten - protein of wheat, rye, barley and oats, then such not split until the end of squirrels the small intestine poisons, aggravating trouble: now all main components of food - proteins, fats, carbohydrates are worse digested and soaked up already. What in such cases is done by the doctor if he manages to make the diagnosis truly? Completely excludes from food of the patient products from the cereals called above, advising more "to lean" on vegetables and fruit, without prohibiting meat and dairy products.
Also other cereals in which there is no gluten are resolved: rice, corn, and also soybeans and potatoes. Interesting the fact that the diagnosis "gluten enteropatiya" is made very seldom, and we do not notice poorly expressed symptoms or we explain them with other reason - bread yes porridge, our food... unless they can be harmful!
Ancient Hindus were more observant though, of course, the biochemistry was not known and about gluten enteropatiya have not heard. The famous journalist and the writer Yury Chernichenko has told us somehow that "in old Sanskrit, the father of many languages of India, wheat was called disrespectfully: the softest transfer, perhaps, - "bread for uneducated"... Whether it was worth softening transfer?
